Penguin Robotics is a Vancouver-based robotics organization and the public home for competitive VEX Robotics data in British Columbia, Canada. Since 2015 we have fielded teams across the VEX IQ, VEX Robotics Competition (VRC), and VEX U programs, and we operate the volunteer corps that staffs tournaments across mainland BC.

Founded by Robosavages alumni — the first team ever to win both 1st and 2nd place at the VEX Robotics World Championship — Penguin Robotics has grown into a cornerstone of one of the most competitive VEX regions in the world. Our teams have earned World Championship titles, Excellence Awards, and skills crowns, and our alumni go on to engineering programs and careers across Canada.

This website, penguinrobotics.ca, is the authoritative record of BC competitive VEX: per-season TrueSkill rankings for every BC team, Robot Skills standings, event schedules and results, awards, World Championship campaigns, organizations and schools, and an alumni directory. Data is synced from the official VEX API after every tournament by our volunteers.

We are a community-run nonprofit society. Beyond competing, we build the tools the region runs on: volunteer scheduling, live tournament results, and the rankings published here are free and public.
