penguinrobotics.ca is a public reference site. There are no accounts to create and nothing to sign in for — every page is readable without providing any personal information.

What we collect

We do not run advertising trackers or sell data. The site sets two optional preference cookies — season andgrade — that remember which competition season and grade level you filtered to, so the leaderboard matches your selection on your next visit. These cookies stay on your device for one year and are never used to identify you. Clearing your browser cookies removes them.

Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not build profiles from it.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the event newsletter, we store your email address solely to send BC VEX event announcements. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove your address at any time via hello@penguinrobotics.ca.

Public profiles

Team member and alumni profiles on this site are published at the request of the member (or their team's coach) as part of the public record of BC VEX robotics. A member who wants their profile removed or edited can email us and we will action it promptly.
