Terms of Use.

These terms govern your use of penguinrobotics.ca, the member app at app.penguinrobotics.ca, and the volunteer portal at volunteer.penguinrobotics.ca, all operated by Penguin Robotics, a nonprofit team in Vancouver, BC. By using the sites or creating an account, you accept these terms.

Accounts

Keep your sign-in credentials private and use an account name you're comfortable appearing publicly. You're responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and don't create accounts for other people or impersonate anyone. Accounts for competitors under the age of consent should be created with a parent/guardian's or coach's knowledge and involvement.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the platform: no scraping at disruptive volume, no attempting to access other people's accounts or data, no harassment through any feature (including scouting notes and volunteer communications), and no uploading unlawful or infringing content. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or BC law.

Profiles and content

Member and alumni profiles are published at the member's choice and are visible to anyone; write them accordingly. You keep ownership of what you submit; by publishing it you give us permission to display it on the platform. Text on this site is licensed separately — seepenguinrobotics.ca/license. Competition results, rankings, and awards are public records of events and remain after profiles are removed.

Minors

Our platform is used by minors under coach or guardian supervision. Adults must not contact minors through the platform outside its intended functions (team operations, event volunteering, scouting). Guardians may request removal of a minor's profile at any time via the contact below — see ourprivacy policyfor how minor data is handled.

Availability and liability

The platform is provided as-is by volunteers. We aim for accuracy in results and rankings but don't warrant them, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penguin Robotics isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes bump the version above and the apps will ask you to re-accept. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Questions:hello@penguinrobotics.ca.
